PRIVACY POLICY FOR HOMESTOCK

HomeStock is an offline pantry and household inventory management Android application provided by SPADE DETAILING GROUP, LLC, USA. We respect your privacy and believe you should remain in control of the information you enter into the application.

This Privacy Policy explains what information HomeStock stores, how the application uses that information, how backups work, and the choices available to you. This policy describes the HomeStock Android application as implemented in the reviewed project version.

To use the app's features, you may voluntarily enter and manage information such as:

• Household or pantry item names and categories.
• Item quantities, measurement units, and minimum stock levels.
• Product expiry dates and optional item notes.
• Shopping list items and purchased/not-purchased status.
• Inventory updates and stock activity records.

HomeStock also saves limited on-device application preferences, such as whether you have completed the introductory onboarding screens.

You decide which inventory and shopping details to enter. Avoid including sensitive personal information in item notes unless necessary for your own use.

Information you enter is used on your device to provide HomeStock features, including:

• Viewing and managing pantry inventory.
• Tracking quantities and identifying low-stock items.
• Displaying items nearing their expiry dates.
• Creating and updating shopping lists.
• Showing inventory summaries, reports, and stock activity.
• Saving and restoring information through user-initiated backups.

These operations are carried out locally within the application.

HomeStock stores pantry, shopping, and related activity records in a local SQLite database on your Android device. Application preferences are also stored locally.

The reviewed app does not request Android internet access permission. It does not require a user account, login, or automatic cloud synchronization to perform its core functions.

The app does not automatically send the records you enter to SPADE DETAILING GROUP, LLC.

The reviewed version of HomeStock does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use built-in features to track your activity across third-party apps or websites.

If these practices change in a future version, the privacy disclosures should be revised accordingly before release.

HomeStock offers a user-controlled option to export inventory and related application records as a JSON backup file using Android's system document picker. You choose where the backup is saved.

You may also choose a backup file to restore records into HomeStock.

• Backup files can contain the household records and notes you entered.
• If you save or share a backup through a cloud storage service, messaging service, or another third-party provider, that provider may process the file under its own privacy terms.
• HomeStock does not automatically upload backups to a cloud service.
• You are responsible for keeping exported backup files secure and deleting them when no longer needed.

The reviewed Android application does not request internet, location, contacts, or camera permissions.

For backup export and restore, HomeStock uses Android's system file selection interface so you can select the relevant save destination or backup file. Selecting a file or location does not grant the application unrestricted access to all files on your device.

HomeStock does not automatically share locally stored inventory information with the developer, advertisers, or analytics companies.

Information may leave your device only when you choose to export, save, send, or otherwise share your information through an external destination or service. For example, if you choose to store a backup in a cloud account, that service's privacy practices apply.

If you contact support by email, your email service may transmit your message and the contact information you include. Please avoid attaching private inventory data or backups unless you deliberately choose to share them for troubleshooting.

Your inventory, shopping lists, and stock activity remain stored locally until you delete records, use the application's Delete All Local Data feature, clear application data through Android settings, or uninstall HomeStock.

The Delete All Local Data feature requests confirmation before deleting local records. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage generally removes the app's locally stored records.

Previously exported backup files are independent of the app's local database. To remove those files, delete them separately from the destination where you saved them, including any third-party cloud storage location.

HomeStock relies on Android's application storage isolation and device security protections for its locally stored information. Because files exported for backup can contain your records, you should store them in a location you trust and protect your device using available screen-lock and security features.

No storage or transfer method can be guaranteed completely secure. The app does not claim end-to-end encryption of user-exported JSON backup files.

HomeStock is a general-purpose household organization application and is not specifically designed to collect children's personal information. It does not require users to create accounts or automatically transmit entered records to the developer.

Parents and guardians should supervise any personal information entered by children using a shared device.

The core application works offline. Certain optional actions, such as choosing a cloud destination in Android's system file picker or composing an email to support, may involve separate applications or services selected by you. Those services may have their own privacy policies and terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy when HomeStock's functionality, permissions, data practices, or legal requirements change. Any revised policy should include a new effective date and be made available through the app or its official listing or support resources, as applicable.
